Ok so I’m a late bloomer. I think.
When it comes to buying makeup, I really don’t know and I really don’t have the patience to test what makeup is good for me. As long as my pale face has some splotches of red on the cheeks, for me that’s okay. That’s why I’m so glad for makeup artists who have the eye that can transform that pale, tired face into a fresh, vibrant look that you could be proud of even in broad daylight.
For years now, I’ve been trying to achieve the smoky eyes but I’d always end up looking like a beat up boxer with black eyes. I have chinky eyes and it’s really hard I think to get it to look bigger. Some attempted and I looked like a raccoon after. So i told myself, I’d really be so grateful to the makeup artist who can give me the smoky eyes I wanted.
And so I dedicate this entry to the HMU artist who made my peepers pop in smoky eyes. I felt like a new girl for one night, thanks to HMU artist, Nikki Betos who transformed my look though temporarily.
Amcee and I wanted to get all dolled up (before going to bed). Because we were only free after work okay. o_o
I was the first to experience the Nikki Betos touch that night.
I really don’t know the process of what’s being done to me. Especially during that time, I didn’t have a mirror to see the next steps. But with Amcee I was able to take photos of it.
And now for our transformed look……
Thanks Nikki for painting my eyes smoky, I just wish I had a date that night. Ahem, where were you Mr. Tan?

Though make up enhanced what it needed to, I believe even make up artists would agree on this too there’s nothing like a smile that would naturally light up any face.
As a writer once said, I’ve never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful. =)
