The Wedding Photographer is one of the crucial suppliers in wedding planning since he/she would best capture a very special day – the beginning of our life as husband and wife. So to whom would you assign the task of capturing that once in a lifetime event?
While some would opt for Photographers often seen in magazines or those that worked with celebrities (which more often than not would have a royal fee), I considered the following in choosing:
- Easy to work with – One who would promptly reply to text messages, is agreeable and of course is respectful of our decisions. I believe that this is important since we would be relying on the photographer to capture this once in a lifetime moment. We need to be able to trust him on that day.
- Experimental but Classic Photography – One who produces classic yet unique photos, which we would love to look back on in our Golden Years.
- Reasonable Price – Of course this is a major factor in deciding. We wanted to get our money’s worth of photos and service at a price that isn’t jaw dropping.
All of these we were glad to find in Anthony Co. Like with all suppliers, I met with him before my husband “screened” him and before deciding to book him. It was a bonus that he has experience working with celebrities and his portfolio was impressive. I especially liked how he could turn a simple place into something magical and romantic in photos. He could somehow turn a backyard garden into a romantic picnic date of a couple.
I then asked my husband to meet him so we could finally seal the deal. Soon we were brainstorming concepts for our Pre Nup Session. We decided to stick with the motif for our wedding: Red, Coral and Gray and played on those colors during our PreNup.
I also liked how he directed us and knew our best angles every time we shoot.
How he could capture emotions in a photo and let it tell its own story.
I didn’t quite expect it, but Anthony Co also had an interesting and clean layout with our Wedding Album. I loved every bit of it! It was how I wanted my wedding album to be. And the turnover was quick as well.
10 months since our special day, I look back on our photos fondly and I feel like I am transported to the day that God blessed our relationship through marriage. I am glad to have chosen Anthony Co our supplier who also turned into our friend eventually. It was a great experience and I’m really thankful for my hubby who was completely hands on with the wedding preparations as he braved that exciting (sometimes topsy turvy) journey with me. 🙂
